The Southeastern Louisiana track and field team will send 19 student-athletes to compete against some of the nation's best competition Thursday-Saturday at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium hosted by the University of Texas.

With the bulk of their schedules coming up the Southeastern Louisiana, Southern and Alcorn State track and field teams used Friday as a friendly tune-up during the Southeastern Triangular at the SLU Track Complex.

The Southeastern Louisiana Track and Field team will host the Southeastern Triangular Friday afternoon at the SLU Track Complex beginning at 1 p.m.

The Southeastern Louisiana track and field team took home titles in seven different events and posted several national marks Friday at the South Alabama Invitational at Jaguar Track.

Shea Foster earned All-American honors after finishing in sixth place in a time of 13:32.38 in the 5k race Friday at the NCAA Division I Indoor National Championships 5K race in the Randal Tyson Center.

The Southeastern Louisiana track and field team begins the outdoor schedule Friday when they compete in the South Alabama Invitational Friday beginning at 11 a.m. at Jaguar Track.
